As we know throughout the bible it talks about
seed time and harvest. We can know that when we plant
a seed of truth in someone's life; nurture it, water
it and care for it, it bears good fruit.
At Wisdom In Living Life Ministry we have witnessed
with our eyes the growth in the lives of those to whom
the seeds have been planted and nurtured. In fact, the
harvest is in full bloom as we see the transformed
life of the one's who where once addicted, and set
free as God promises.
We understand that it is never easy for families whose
sons or daughters or loved ones are currently
struggling with addiction. That is why we never stop
planting.
Our hope and prayer is that truth takes root.
We proclaim what is true yesterday, today and
tomorrow...Freedom from the sin of addiction is found
in Christ!
God is still working!

Strange
but true...
A 35 yr. Crack Cocaine Addict
finds freedom at last!
Tim
Strange is his name. But he is certainly no
stranger to addiction. He ha d been dancing with the
devil in a 35 year addiction to hard drugs, including
crack cocaine. He had been so immune to anything
that resembled a good life, that he thought he would
never get off the drugs and as the years went by it
would almost appear to be true.
I had accepted I
would just end up dying-nothing more than a crack
cocaine addict
Tim states, "Well, I had thought that I would
just end up dying -nothing more than an addict!
I had just accepted it. Living that way for that
period of time, I did not have the drugs-in fact the
drugs had me! I couldn't make myself stop. I had many
close calls. On one occasion I overdosed and was
unconscious -almost dead, I came to, got up in an hour
or so was looking for my next fix. It was a
vicious cycle, and day after day it continued.
I had my share of stays in secular treatment centers;
five times in fact. I had even been labeled

"What
kind of Harvest can you expect"?
As
I read Matthew 13:24-27 I see the importance of sowing
good seeds and nurturing those seeds if we want them
to grow and be fruitful. I think back to my life in
addiction and how I was sowing bad seeds and as those
seeds took root grew so did my problems. My life was
in shambles and I was experiencing misery for I was
reaping what I had sown. Then I submitted my life to
Jesus and I began to sow good seeds. It took some time
for those bad seeds to die out and for me to start
reaping the harvest from the good seeds. But as I
continually planted and maintained those good seeds my
life things
began to turn
around. Now I am committed to sowing and maintaining
good seeds in my life, for God will bless those who are
persistently planting and diligently nurturing the right
kind of seeds. Ask yourself: what
seeds am I planting, where am I planting? Are they good
or bad? Do they glorify me or God? |

Changing Truth |
|
- Transformation
is real only if God is the source of it. This
God is not an ill-defined "Higher Power",
but rather the Creator of the Universe who has
revealed Himself in the person of Jesus Christ.
- The
Word of God is the authoritative rule and guide for
our lives. We believe in an objective standard
of truth in this world, as revealed to us in the
Bible. (Hebrews 4:12)
- There
is a real devil. He is an actual entity who,
through the power of deception, seeks to steal,
kill, and destroy. (John 10:10)
- Sin
is deceptive, powerful, and addictive. (Romans
7:15-25)
- There
is a Redeemer. Jesus Christ has won victory
over both sin and death by His death. Through
this we have forgiveness, and the power to
experience real and lasting change in our lives.
(Romans 1:16)
